Gobsmacked is the word for this...the original brought a tear to my eye, but this track touched me in a way that hasn't been touched since maybe the Power of Love was released by Frankie goes to Hollywood. This has so much atmosphere, the brass is amazing and what you've done with Vanguard is amazing as well, give yourself a pat on the back, from me and the crew at Lomax studio's. Boss is very impressed, ever so that he may message you later :D Is this for you new album with alan by chance? get some vocals on this and it will be a killer track!

I do like, Orange sounds crap mind!

Cool can't wait until you release the whole suite!

Well done Maxx, amazing soundscape and true sounds to the original

This track is oddly compelling as it sounds like a proper danceable track, think the vocal is a bit rough around the edges. But definitely would amazing to add this to your set as I know you want to stay with your Downtempo/Dance/Electronica style. Solina and phaser/flanger effect gave me chills. Bass is impressive as well. My question is, as follows, is this Live or Semi live, and how did you go about making this track. My only gripe is that it has no fade out but the rest of the song really makes up for it. So you used Vanguard, can you tell me how you built up your voicing because I have Vanguard, obviously at work, and it doesn't usually allow you to do from completely as usually you build on other patches.

So you got Sovtek Small Stone, which is a feat in itself to get hold of one, and aren't like £200 on ebay, usually in really bad nick! I heard that Davis recently managed to buy his studio one of those Schmitt Synthesisers as well as getting hold of that CP-80 by Yamaha. Kids got money burning a hole in his pocket. That Schmitt Synth they made like a small batch of them as well and apparently he bought I think the third to last one. It's stupid because they are like 10K for a three voice synthesiser, I could buy three Moog Voyagers for that price!

I'm kind of glad that you don't care to much about the latest equipment and keep buying vintage synths. That way you should be able to pull of your live gig's more effectively. But word of warning you were talking about using your PC on stage this time around, I don't know how well that would be received as there is only a couple of bands around I know which have successfully done this kind of thing. I still think your better taking the samplers with you, as its maybe slightly more artistic.

I hope your well and I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

Very much reminded me of Kraftwerk, still don't like your vocoder mind, bit loud!

Real fun producing this with you...You band done an amazing job conveying this song to the public and I know its a real step in the right direction concerning your vocals, even though NewGrounds seems to really dislike every time you open gob on here, even though...as you say davis paid you recently quite a lot of money to sing on the monika molise song, and monika was well chuffed, her albums sold well, and I didn't here nothing but positive comments from the grapevine, so you're doing something right at least...What can I say about this piece...maybe a little bit over the top with the quantisation. Your vocals in perfect tune and your voice sounds really through the Rode NT5's.

I also give you an extra nod towards the free gigs playing this song for AA/NA regional meetup and that YMCA gig you did a month ago, Legend and all for charity what can I say I can never say thanks enough especially through the hidden message in this song which extremely relevant for the NA/AA lot! Well done, I pine for a new song like this after you retire this as I know its done its rounds and you want to stay fresh! I do understand fully.

But do remember there will be a load of people on here that might offer constructive criticism, but there is a hell of a lot of trolls that might try to grind you into the ground, remember they ain't worth it and I as usual will see you for work on Saturday, where you can exercise your gills without fear of retribution from the low lifes of the world.

Good composition, not very good use of the VP-550 by the way, Could have used some poly tonal effects as it sounds like you a F'in Dalek or something...

maxxpump responds:

Yeah I've had quite a bit of stick over this vocal, thats why i'm using my older vocoder setup now instead of the VP-550, which went back to davis. I thought it sounded alright when I made it, not so much now, but its got 4000 views which is the most I've ever had on a song on Newgrounds. Just like Dystopian Peace which got the highest viewership on youtube compared to all my other videos, but I hate the song and would never play live.

What can I say, I think to composition is rock solid. It sounds like you tried your best on the vocals, as I know you usually do. My only negative is I think it get slightly too overcrowded at the end, and maybe good at having a slight remix? But I know from you News section, that this is a Beta. I know its 80's style, but I just don't think it sits right in the New wave category? I'm biased as I don't really like New Wave music. Really like you synthesiser playing and as I said the composition is really good, but I'm starting to think your barking up the wrong tree stuart and it might be time to start preaching on other platforms, as NG just doesn't seem to respect you at all.

Sadly Fireball01e AKA Maxxpump or Stuart Wright died May 16th 2020 due to a heart attack from complications from Covid
